I honestly don’t get it….
Hammer of the Gods meaning more than one god. Hammer of the God’s would be a single gods hammer such as in the case with Thor’s Hammer. apostrophe s would be possesive. God’s Hammer or Hammer of the Gods would be correct but not Hammer of the God’s.
However, if the gun belongs to someone/thing called “Hammer of the God” (perhaps a musician?) then the grammar is perfectly valid.
Compare “System of a Down’s new album”, for example.
